The rules behind the verdict

Editorial policy

How evidique separates evidence, opinion, commercial relationships, corrections, and demonstration content.

Effective July 11, 2026. Ethan Miller owns and applies this policy.

Evidence before adjectives

We tie important claims to a task, screenshot, output, primary source, or dated observation. We label research-only work and never present it as hands-on testing.

Editorial control

Editors choose topics, tasks, scoring, conclusions, and corrections. Vendors may flag factual errors but do not preview or approve verdicts.

Demonstration pages

MVP samples carry a prominent notice. Their placeholder scores and conclusions are not recommendations and should never be promoted as finished reviews.

Corrections

We verify specific correction requests, update material errors promptly, and change the visible updated date. Significant changes should include an editor's note.
